InLife Partners with ECPay for Convenient Payment of Premiums


Insular Life (InLife) announced its partnership with ECPay to make premium payments more convenient for its policyholders.

 

ECPay, or Electronic Commerce Payments, Inc. is an electronic payment service provider that enables retail outlets and collection partners to offer accurate, secure, and timely payment services to its customers. To date, there are 8,000 payment centers affiliated with ECPay  strategically located all over the country. These include convenience stores, pawnshops, remittance and bayad centers, rural banks, and more. With this partnership, InLife policyholders who do not have traditional bank accounts, may now pay their premiums through ECPay. 

 

"We are constantly thinking of ways to make things easier for our policyholders especially during these times when movement is limited. We need to give them more flexible choices for availing of InLife’s services aside from our fully-digital customer service and sales process. As InLife celebrates its 110th anniversary this year, we commit to further improving the delivery of our services for all our stakeholders," said InLife President and CEO Mona Lisa B. de la Cruz. 

 

To ensure payment transactions are processed accurately, InLife policyholders must bring a copy of the billing notice and present it to the cashier of the ECPay outlet when paying. Make sure that the correct Policy ID with the prefix "IL" and premium due amount have been keyed-in, then request for an acknowledgment receipt, and check that the policy record has been updated after 2 working days.  Policyholders may view their policy details in the InLife Customer Portal

 

Aside from ECPay, InLife policyholders may pay their premiums through any of the following: online through the I-Eagle Customer Portal, direct deposit to InLife account, over-the-counter at InLife offices that have resumed operations since May 18, over-the-counter in partner banks, internet banking, credit cards, ATMs, phone banking, post-dated check warehousing, auto-debit arrangement, and wire remittance transfer and overseas collection partners for policyholders that are overseas.
