"Your convenience, security and safety are paramount to us, so we keep looking for ways of providing new channels to deliver the services that you deserve,” Insular Life (InLife) President and CEO, Mona Lisa B. Dela Cruz said as she announced the launch of another first in the insurance industry, the Bills Presentment Payment Facility. This payment option covers both initial premiums for new policies and renewal premiums for existing policies.

For the 'New Business Bills Presentment,' applicable to new policies, the policyholder will receive a billing notification through email and/or SMS containing a payment link for the initial premium due once the application is approved.

For the 'Renewals Bills Presentment,' applicable to existing policies, the policyholder will receive a billing notification through email and/or SMS containing a payment link on the following billing schedules:

1st Regular Billing Notification

- Non-Monthly Billing Mode – 30 days before premium due date

- Monthly Billing Mode – 26 days before premium due date

2nd Reminder Billing Notification – 13 days after premium due date

Once the billing notification is received, the policyholder may follow these three easy steps, to pay the premium online and on time.

1. Click on the payment link in the billing notification

2. Input the One-time Pin (OTP) sent via email/mobile phone

3. Input the MasterCard/Visa card details to process the payment

Once payment is approved, the policyholder will instantly receive an Acknowledgement Receipt (AR) through his/her email or Customer Portal Mailbox or mobile phone. For new policies, the policyholder may expect the policy contract to be e-mailed to within 2-3 working days.
