Easy steps to redeem your reward

Redeeming earned reward points is easy. Follow these steps to redeem and use your rewards.

  • Call (02) 582-1818 local 5135 from Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm to inquire about your reward points.
  • View the Rewards Line-up and take note of the Reward Code and description of the item/s that you wish to redeem. Please ensure that the points earned are sufficient to cover the required points of your chosen reward item/s. Only the reward items featured on the Rewards Line-up are currently available for redemption.
  • Mention the Reward Code or the item description as well as the number of items to be redeemed. Valid ID and other documents/forms may be required. Please allow 21 working days for the processing and delivery of your redemption request.

2. What are the benefits under the Prestige level?

As an ESP, the insured enjoys the following exclusive benefits:

  • Free Magandang Araw Prestige Card with wider selection of merchant partners nationwide offering exclusive discounts and freebies.
  • Privilege to participate in the Prestige Rewards so you can earn points by simply paying renewal premiums in advance.
3. How can I maintain my ESP Status?

Since membership to the program has an end-date or expiry date, duration of membership depends on

  • the qualification to the premium requirement during time of policy issue date
  • status of policy, and
  • paying period of the qualifying policy/ies

For example, you are an ESP and you have a 5-pay policy, you will enjoy a 5-year ESP status as long as:

  • The policy is active-premium paying and;
  • The annualized premium met the premium requirement of the program during the 5-year period.

ESPs qualifying through multiple policies must ensure that all policies maintain an active-premium paying status and should meet the premium requirement in order to continue enjoying the program benefits.

Once the qualifying policy is fully paid, membership to the program expires. However, you may still re-qualify as an ESP by purchasing a new policy with at least P 100,000 annualized premium. Contact your Insular Life financial advisor to provide you with a FREE financial consultation and help you plan and choose the best financial product that would better suit your needs.

4. How can I claim my free medical and breakfast benefits?

The free medical and breakfast stubs are delivered to the ESP’s preferred mailing address during his/her birth month. These benefits are given once a year for the duration of the program membership regardless of the number of qualified policies issued under the ESP’s name.

If you are a new member, the free medical exam and breakfast benefits will be given only after the qualifying policy has been in-force for a full year, with the exception of those whose payment mode is annual or one-time (single-pay policies).

The free medical examination and breakfast benefit is only valid for a certain period as indicated on the medical and breakfast stubs. This validity period is strictly observed.

Insular Life has partnered with accredited medical facilities and breakfast venues nationwide for the convenience of our ESPs.
5. How can I earn points under the Prestige Reward Program?

Now, insuring your future and that of your loved ones has been made more rewarding by Insular Life.

ESPs earn reward points by simply paying renewal premiums in advance (1 to 30 days before the premium due date). Accumulated points may be used to redeem gift certificates or as a donation.

Reward points are computed based on the amount of premium paid in advance. All points are rounded off.

For example:

  • For payments made 16-30 days in advance: (P100,000) (0.0030) = 300 reward points
  • For payments made 1-15 days in advance: (P100,000) (0.0015) = 150 reward points

Only renewal premiums paid before the due date are entitled of the reward points. Other payment transaction that does not entitle the ESP to earn reward points are:

  • 1st annual premium payment
  • 1st semi-annual premium payment
  • 1st quarter premium payment
  • One time or single premium payment
  • Balance premium payment (or payments made to cover balance due to change of premium mode)
  • Reinstatement fees
  • Payment of policy loans / interest
  • Excess premium payment
  • Payments made using the Premium Deposit Fund (PDF) facility and Easy Payment Option or EPOn
  • Payments made after the due date or within the 30 days grace period
  • Payments made more than 30 days before the due date
6. How can I redeem my earned points under the Prestige Reward Program?

  • Mention the code or the item description as well as the number of items to be redeemed. Please allow 21 working days for the processing and delivery of the redemption request.
7. What is the Magandang Araw Presitge Card and how does it work?

The Magandang Araw Prestige Card is a discount card given exclusively to qualified Extra Special Poliyholders.
