I-Excel

Insular Life I-EXCEL is a 5 and 10-pay college education plan that starts to payout benefits in time for the start of his or her freshman year. I-Excel supplements college tuition fees and can fund the child's thesis, practicum or other projects. It awards deserving students with cash incentives and even sees her through elementary and secondary schooling in case of unforeseen events.

I-EXCEL has the following incomparable characteristics:

1. It RESPONDS.
   I-Excel addresses the parents' worry on inflation and tuition fee hike by providing 15% increase on the College Education Benefit per annum. College Education Benefit payout is received every semester.
   To cover for incidental expenses, the plan offers Supplemental Educational Allowance for thesis, practicum, books or projects.
   Finally, there is the Protection Cash Benefit that may be used to buy insurance coverage for the child upon graduation or used to start-off the child's career.
   
   
2. It PROTECTS.
   The policyholder and the child are assured that funds will be available as education funding, in case of the payor's death and/or disability through the Waiver of Premium and Contingent Education Fund features. Insurance coverage for the child is also embedded in the plan.
   
   
3. It MOTIVATES.
   With I-Excel, your child is motivated to strive for academic excellence! The Scholastic Achievement Award is given to students who graduate summa cum laude and magna cum laude. It also gives a Topnotcher Benefit to those who top the board or bar examination.
   
   
4. It REWARDS.
   Because I-Excel would like your child to be the best he or she can be, regardless of what field he or she pursues, I-Excel provides privileges to the children whose policies qualify to the company's Extra Special Policyholders Program*. Current merchant partners who give kiddie benefits are Toddler's Unlimited, World of Fun and Yamaha School of Music.
   
   

   *Membership to the Program is contingent on qualification to the annual premium requirement (P100,000 as of January 1, 2008).

5. It HELPS.
   For every P1000 premium, Insular Life sets aside P1.00 for the Insular Life Foundation, an institution dedicated to the development of the nation's human resources through education.
