In celebration of Insular Life’s 100th founding anniversary this year, Insular Life launched a program to strengthen its ties with, as well as offer its gratitude to all its hundreds of thousands of policyholders.
The Centennial Gift Program and the CASHandog Centennial Edition gives policyholders of Insular Life with in-force policies the chance to receive additional accidental death insurance coverage, win cell phone loads, cell phone handsets, appliances and cash prizes.
Insular Life policyholders whose policies remain in-force from November 25, 2009 to October 24, 2010, are entitled to:
ü a free Centennial Gift Certificate of 100,000-peso Accidental Death Insurance coverage for 100 days.
ü the chance to win in the daily, monthly and grand raffle draws.
· Daily, two (2) winners of P500 worth of cellphone load.
· Monthly, one (1) winner of P100,000 cash prize and ten (10) winners of cellphone units.
· On Insular Life’s 100th anniversary on November 25, 2010, one (1) winner of P1 million cash prize, five (5) winners of laptop computers, and five (5) winners of LCD TVs.
A policyholder may win only once for the daily draws and only once for the monthly draws. The good news is that a winner in any of the daily and monthly draws shall still have the chance to win in the grand raffle draw!

Centennial Gift Program (G-Shield – Accidental Death Insurance)
Mechanics:
1- Any individual policyholder of a permanent Insular Life policy that is in force during the offer period is eligible to receive the Centennial Gift of a 100,000-peso Accidental Death Insurance cover for 100 days.
2- Maximum amount of coverage per individual is Php100,000.
3- To activate the coverage, the policyholder has to visit our field office and claim his accidental death insurance certificate.
a. Policyholder shall designate one beneficiary.
b. The insurance certificate shall be issued during the visit and shall reflect the start and end dates of coverage as well as the name of the designated beneficiary.
4- For an insurance claim to be payable, the policyholder must have at least one in-force permanent policy at time of accident.
5- The Free Accidental Death insurance offer to all policy holders who will update his information is until October 24, 2010.
Guidelines on Claiming the Centennial Gift Certificate:
When claiming your centennial gift certificate, please bring
1- This Centennial Letter to any Insular Life office nearest your residence, together with the accomplished Mini-Customer Information Update (CIU) form.
2- One valid ID with signature and photo for proper authentication. The following may be considered as valid ID:
Passport
Driver’s License
Company ID
New Postal ID
Any government ID with customer’s signature and photo.
CASHandog Centennial Edition Program
(Daily, Monthly and Grand Raffle Draws)
Description:
1- The Program was launched on the “Bisperas” of its Centennial Year, November 25, 2009 and shall culminate on Insular’s 100th year, November 25, 2010.
2- The Program shall include the following draws:
a. Daily draws of 1,000-peso cellphone load (2 winners of Php 500 load each)
b. Monthly draws of Php100,000 cash prize and 10 cell phone units
c. Grand raffle draw of Php1,000,000 cash grand prize, and consolation prizes of 5 laptops and 5 LCD Television sets
How to Join the Centennial Edition of the CASHandog Program:
1. Send your entry through any of the following channels :

2. The earlier you submit your CIU the more chances of winning. Early entries garner multiple raffle tickets. The following table defines the number of raffle tickets earned for entries received during the specified period:
3. The CASHandog Program is open to all Insular Life policyholders whose policies remain in-force during the campaign period. All policyholders who had participated in earlier CASHandog draws must re-submit their contact information to join the Centennial Edition of the CASHandog program
4. Multiple entries for a single policy without any change in contact information shall be considered as one entry. However, a policyholder with multiple in force policies may submit one entry for each policy.
Mechanics of the Centennial Draw:
1. The Centennial Raffle Draw countdown begins on November 25, 2009 and
ends on November 25, 2010, the 100th founding anniversary of Insular
Life.
2. The Centennial monthly draw starts on December 25, 2009, and every
25th of each month thereafter. Should the 25th day fall on a Saturday or
Sunday or holiday, the raffle draw will be on the following working day.
3. The daily draw starts on November 26, 2009 and shall continue up to November 24, 2010. Two winning tickets shall be drawn daily for a 500- peso cellphone load.

Consolation prizes of 10 cellphone units shall also be raffled off monthly.
5. Winners will be determined by electronic raffle draw.
Drawn policyholder’s name during the raffle draw shall be considered a winner only if :
a. Policyholder has at least one in-force policy during the draw and
b. Policyholder may be contacted using the contact information submitted for the drawn entry.
Otherwise, another ticket shall be drawn.
6. A policyholder may win only once for the daily draws and once for the
monthly draws. However, a winner in any of the daily and monthly draws
shall still be included in the Grand Centennial Raffle Draw on November
25, 2010.
7. Winners of daily draws shall be announced through radio.
Names of winners of the monthly draws and the centennial grand raffle
draw shall be published in major newspapers, announced through radio
and notified through registered mail.
8. Prizes may be claimed at any Insular Life office. To claim a prize, a winner must present his original policy contract, the notification letter, and one valid ID with signature and photo.
9. Prizes must be claimed within 60 days from the date of notice.
