Takbo Para sa Sentenaryo

Details : Part of the activities that have been lined up for Insular’s Centennial Anniversary in 2010 is a fun run aptly dubbed “Takbo Para Sa Sentenaryo.” This event would be held on March 27, 2010 at the 8th Street, Bonifacio Global City, starting at five o’clock in the morning.

This event will prove to be a fun-filled activity for promoting good health among Insular employees, agents, policyholders and the general public. Aside from the actual run, there will also be games, give-aways and other activities that would make this event a great opportunity for family bonding, building camaraderie, or simply enjoying the outdoors.

Other than promoting health and wellness, the “Takbo Para Sa Sentenaryo” has also been organized for the greater purpose of raising funds for the benefit of the Educational Research and Development Assistance (ERDA) Foundation. ERDA is a non-government organization that provides educational assistance to under privileged children. In this regard, the minimal registration fee which will be collected from participants will be wholly donated to ERDA. This is definitely one cause where you can be confident that your peso contribution will go a long way towards a better Philippines.

Registration fees for the fun run are:
- Php200.00 for individuals aged 13 years old and above
- Php100.00 for individuals aged 7 - 12 years old

Race categories are 2.5K and 5K
