Insular Life announces promotion of Cabrera, Lim and Gallardo

Insular Life Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer Vicente R. Ayllón recently announced the promotion of the following executives: Ramon M. Cabrera to senior vice president, John Jesus O. Lim to first vice president, and Lorenzo Luis Liborio B. Gallardo II to senior assistant vice president.

 

Cabrera is the chief agency executive of Insular Life’s Sales and Marketing Group. He joined Insular Life in 1985. As chief agency executive, he oversees the continuous building and expansion of the agency force, the Company’s major distribution channel, by developing specific programs for agency recruitment, as well as skills development of the agency force. Under his wing are the company’s four sales divisions and group marketing. Cabrera is a BS Psychology graduate of St. Louis University. He also holds the following Life Office Management Association (LOMA) degrees: Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI), and Associate, Financial Services Institute (AFSI).

 

Lim heads the Metro Manila Direct Agencies Sales Division. He joined Insular Life in 2002. As division head, he oversees the sales, marketing and conservation activities of the five regions under him including the Metro Manila General Agencies. His Division is responsible for nearly a third of the Company’s overall sales target. Lim is a BSC Management graduate of the Ateneo de Naga University. He has a diploma in Strategic Business Economics Program from the University of the Asia and the Pacific. He also holds the following LOMA degrees: FLMI, and Associate, Customer Service (ACS).

 

Gallardo heads the Corporate Accounts Department (CAD) under the Administrative Operations Group. He joined Insular Life in 1988. As head of CAD, he oversees activities geared towards supporting the Company’s corporate clients through excellent account management. He is an AB English graduate from the Divine Word College of Laoag. He has a Master of Business Administration degree from the De La Salle Graduate School of Business. He holds the following LOMA degrees: FLMI, ACS; and Associate, Insurance Agency Administration (AIAA).
